The SANROCK XYX-3 Coal Geological Core Drilling Rig is specifically configured for coal mine exploration and coalfield geological investigation. This hydraulic core drill machine reaches a maximum depth of 600m, covering the typical depth range of coal seam exploration. The open hole diameter of 75-325mm accommodates both overburden drilling and coal seam coring.
Designed with safety and reliability in mind, the XYX-3 features a diesel-powered hydraulic system that operates without electrical sparks — essential for coal exploration environments. The trailer-mounted mobility allows the rig to move between drill sites on coalfield roads with minimal disassembly.
